So random thought but these are the things that go through my head. I must be watching to many Disney shows, or maybe it was the radio ads for Princesses on ice coming to town....
How come there are no mothers in the Disney Princess stories? The only one I could think of was the "Evil" Step-mother. What about all the other princesses? Didn't they have good mothers somewhere in the story? I think we need a good story that includes a mother. :)

Duuuuuuuude. I never thought about that before! That totally sucks! I know Cinderella's mom died. Maybe that's what happened to them all. I totally agree that we need a good mom in a Disney movie! How do we make that happen?! :)
I read something somewhere about how Walt Disney didn't get along with his mother so he cut them all out, but really that doesn't make sense because none of the original fairy tales have moms either. Seriously, none of them!

Good thought, Kandis! The only mother I can think of is in Mulan. Well, Sleeping Beauty had one too - but they didn't let her have much of a role. I agree. We need some Disney movies where the mom offers advice instead of the dad. Cause everyone knows that moms know everything!
I know!! I've thought of that too!!! It's always bugged me. Ohh, Sleeping Beauty has a mom...but they give her away to live with the fairies. Weird.
